Film Discussion: Radu Jude's I Do Not Care If We Go Down in History as Barbarians (2018)

I Do Not Care If We Go Down in History as Barbarians is a black comedy that delves into topics of national history, remembrance, (anti)fascism, and the personal vs. the political. The tagline reads as follows: "In the film, a young artist reconstructs a historical event from 1941, in which the Romanian Army carried out ethnic cleansing on the Eastern Front."
